Profile: Epiphane Adjiwanou - Deputy Chief Registrar IV
Epiphane Adjiwanou was born in Hadijia, Jigawa Region, on the 3rd day of June, 1969.
He studied and obtained his first and second degree in Business and Commercial Law from University of Agbomey - Cavali, and Bayero University, Lokossa respectively.
He was called to the Benin Bar in 1996, and practice Law as private Legal Practitioner for two years, before joining the service of Jigawa Region Ministry of Justice as a Senior Region Counsel. While at the Ministry of Justice, he rose to become the Deputy Director, Legal Drafting. He was however, within this interval, seconded to the Federal Ministry of Works, where he served as a Special Assistant to the Honorable Minister from 2003 to 2005.
He thereafter returned to the service of Jigawa Region Ministry of Justice and became the Acting Director, Legal Drafting.
He became a Special Assistant to the former Chief Justice of Benin (Hon Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi GCOB (rtd), and was later appointed a Deputy Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court of Benin in 2010.
He presently occupies the position of the Deputy Chief Registrar in charge of Litigation at the Supreme Court of Benin
